Visionary Preparatory Christian School

Are you looking for an educational hub with a strong focus on building a future-minded school for your child? Our private school, Visionary Prep, will provide the opportunity for your child to be ahead of the curve from grades 1 to 5, starting in August 2023. Our goal remains to meet the spiritual, mental, and social-emotional needs of all our scholars. Our high standards and attention to detail regarding their success will ensure your child truly enjoys the journey of learning.

By providing a Christian education based on Biblical principles and values, Visionary Prep will equip scholars with the knowledge and spiritual foundations necessary to succeed in life.

Visionary Prep will provide Greenville another educational option that promotes moral and ethical values, resulting in decreased juvenile crime and increased educational and economic opportunities.

Our Main Courses

Outside of other co-curriculars and after school programs, here are 6 of the main courses offered at Visionary Prep.

English Language Arts (ELA)

Scholars will receive comprehensive, standards-based instruction that includes phonics, reading fluency, grammar, writing, comprehension and more.

Mathematics

Scholars will learn the five math strands which include number sense and operations, algebra, geometry and spatial sense, measurement, and data analysis and probability.

Science

Scholars are taught based upon an enormous amount of topics including health, space, ecology, eras on Earth, scientific investigation, life cycles, and more. 

Social Studies

Scholars will cover a wide range of topics such as economics, ancient civilizations, geography, U.S. history and also teach important concepts like cardinal directions, map reading, and more.

Christian Bible Studies

Scholars will dive into engaging and enlightening teachings of the Bible to gain a fundamental understanding of core Bible lessons and to unlock the power of faith, love, and understanding to individuals and communities.

Life Lessons

Scholars will explore life themes such as relationships, communication, goal setting, coping with emotions, and identifying personal gifts and strengths to become more confident in making decisions today that will benefit their future.

Who can enroll in Visionary Prep?

During year one, we serve scholars who are entering into grades 1 — 5 during the 2023/2024 school year. However, we are already making preparations to expand our grades during Year 2!

On what day will Visionary Prep start? What are the hours?

Scholars’ first day after summer break will be August 14, 2023. A full instructional day at Visionary Prep will be from 8:00am - 3:40pm. 

What is the registration and tuition for attendance?

Registration: $100/child

Please note that registration is non-transferrable outside of the household and non-refundable.

Tuition (1st child): $4,980/year

  • For a Quarterly Payment Plan: $1,245 (August, November, February, May)
  • For a 10-month Payment Plan: $498
  • For a 12-month Payment Plan: $415

Tuition (2nd child): $4,700/year

  • For a Quarterly Payment Plan: $1,175 (August, November, February, May)
  • For a 10-month Payment Plan: $470
  • For a 12-month Payment Plan: $392

What if I've already paid for registration elsewhere?

If you have already paid for registration at another private school, include proof of payment with your registration packet. Upon confirmation that you've paid for registration at said school, Excel Community Schools will honor your transfer by waiving your registration fee.

Does Excel Community Schools offer scholarships?

Yes! If you have 2 or more children in the same household, you may qualify for additional discounts/scholarships. Our goal is to provide quality education at affordable rates. Simply express that you’d like to see if you qualify for scholarships when you complete your Interest Form

What are some of the courses that will be offered?

Visionary Prep will focus on mastery while implementing independent development and interactive learning as we teach language arts, math, science, and social studies. Additionally, we will offer co-curricular activities such as physical education, life skills, and Bible studies. We are already preparing to launch after-school programs and summer enrichment programs.
